About Our Drumsticks
Q1: What kind of wood does Everflame use?
Everflame’s primary in-house drumstick lines are crafted from selected hickory, chosen for the individual model rather than treated as interchangeable stock.
Before production, material is evaluated for grain, straightness, weight, tone, and suitability for its intended line. That selection process helps give each Everflame model its own playing character.
Q2: What makes Everflame drumsticks different?
Everflame drumsticks are built in small batches with close attention to the details that shape feel.
Our in-house hickory sticks are shaped, finished, inspected, and paired with attention to material quality, geometry, straightness, weight, tone, and overall response.
The result is a drumstick designed to feel intentional from the first pickup.

Legacy Series

The Furnace
A specialty warm-up and conditioning model designed to provide substantially greater resistance before moving to your standard playing stick.
Q5: What tip styles do you offer?
Everflame currently produces wood-tip drumsticks only.
Legacy and Legacy Lite feature traditional oval wood tips designed to provide a natural response across drums and cymbals.
Everflame does not currently offer nylon-tip drumsticks.
Q6: What finish options are available?
Finish options vary by model.
Legacy Series is available in Traditional Lacquer and select Phoenix Grip configurations.
Traditional Lacquer provides a smooth, familiar feel. Phoenix Grip offers a more tactile contact surface for players who prefer additional hold.

Q7: Are Everflame drumsticks weight matched and tone paired?
Legacy pairs are selected with close attention to weight, tone, straightness, and overall response.
Wood is a natural material, and no two sticks begin exactly alike. Careful selection and pairing bring two individual sticks together into a balanced pair.
Other Everflame lines are inspected according to the quality standard and playing purpose established for that collection.

The right drumstick depends on your playing style, preferred feel, hand size, setup, and personal preference.

A versatile middle ground offering a balanced combination of control, diameter, and presence.

A larger, heavier profile for players who prefer more authority in the hand.

The most substantial of our traditional core sizes, offering the greatest physical presence and mass.
Size is only the starting point. Length, product line, material weight, and personal preference all contribute to how a stick feels.
Q9: How does length affect the feel of a drumstick?
A 16-inch stick generally provides a familiar, compact balance and reach.
Moving to 16.5 or 17 inches provides additional reach and leverage while changing the balance and movement of the stick.
The best length is the one that works naturally with your hands, technique, setup, and preferred motion around the kit.
Q10: What is the difference between Legacy and Legacy Lite?
Choose Legacy Series when you want the fuller weight and traditional presence of our core premium hickory line.
Choose Legacy Lite when you prefer a lighter, quicker response and a playing feel comparable to maple.
Legacy Lite remains a hickory drumstick. Its lighter character comes from intentional material selection rather than changing to a different wood species.
Both lines are purpose-built. The distinction is their intended weight profile and feel in the hands.
Q11: How does Legacy Lite compare with maple?
Maple drumsticks are known for their lighter weight and quick response.
Legacy Lite was developed for players who appreciate that type of feel but prefer to remain with hickory.
By intentionally selecting lighter hickory for the line, Legacy Lite delivers a playing experience comparable to maple in weight and responsiveness while retaining the natural character of hickory.
Q12: What is The Furnace?
The Furnace is Everflame’s dedicated warm-up and conditioning stick, created for drummers who take preparation as seriously as performance.
The Furnace measures:

Material — selected hickory
Construction — double-butt design
Finish — smooth, lacquer-free natural wood
Its substantial dimensions and weight provide greater resistance than a conventional playing stick, allowing the hands to work deliberately before rehearsal, practice, or performance.
The Furnace is designed to help develop control, endurance, hand strength, and deliberate movement during warm-up and conditioning.
It is not intended to replace your everyday playing stick.
It is designed to prepare you for it.
Care & Lifespan
Q13: How should I care for my drumsticks?
Keep your drumsticks clean, dry, and protected from extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
Store them in a stick bag or case rather than leaving them loose in a vehicle, garage, rehearsal room, or another environment where heat and moisture can fluctuate significantly.
When cleaning is necessary, use a soft, dry cloth or one that is only lightly dampened. Do not soak the wood or use aggressive cleaners or solvents.
Q14: How long will my drumsticks last?
Drumstick lifespan depends on playing technique, cymbal and rim contact, volume, musical style, setup, and frequency of use.
All drumsticks are impact tools and will eventually wear.
A stick should be retired if it develops a structural crack, significant warp, severe shoulder wear, heavy splintering, or another condition that affects safe and predictable playing.

Q16: Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes.
An order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.
Please review the model, diameter, length, finish, quantity, shipping address, and other order details carefully.
If you notice an error, contact Everflame as soon as possible. Changes cannot be guaranteed once fulfillment or production has begun.
Q17: How can I track my order?
When your order ships, tracking information will be sent to the email address associated with the order.
Tracking may require additional time to update after the carrier first receives the shipment.
Q18: What are your shipping costs and delivery times?
Available shipping options, costs, and estimated carrier delivery times are shown during checkout.
Handling time may vary depending on whether the ordered product is available as finished inventory or requires additional production or finishing.
When a specific lead time is listed on a product page or provided with an order, that lead time applies.
Carrier delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed by Everflame.
Returns & Product Concerns
Q19: What is Everflame’s return policy?
Only completely unused and unplayed drumsticks are eligible for return.
Unused drumsticks may be returned within 30 days of delivery after contacting Everflame.
Drumsticks are no longer returnable once they have been played, marked, taped, altered, or otherwise put into use.
If Everflame fulfilled the order correctly but you selected a different model, diameter, length, or finish than intended, you are responsible for return shipping.
Once the unused drumsticks are received and inspected, store credit will be issued.
We do not process direct physical exchanges. A different configuration may be purchased using the issued credit.
Original shipping charges are not refundable when the original order was fulfilled correctly.
Please contact Everflame before sending anything back.
Q20: What if my order arrives incorrect or damaged?
Contact Everflame promptly with your order number and a clear description of the issue.
Photographs may be requested when they will help us evaluate what happened.
If Everflame made an error in fulfilling the order, or the shipment arrived damaged, we will take responsibility for determining and providing the appropriate correction.
Q21: What if I believe a drumstick has a manufacturing issue?
Contact Everflame with your order number, a description of what occurred, and photographs when available.
We will review the condition, apparent failure point, material, and circumstances individually.
A suspected manufacturing issue is handled separately from a standard return.
Using a drumstick makes it ineligible for a standard return, but it does not prevent you from contacting us about a legitimate product concern.
Wholesale, Custom & Artist Work
Q22: Do you offer wholesale pricing or custom signature sticks?
Everflame works with selected wholesale customers, artists, and custom production projects.
Minimum quantities, specifications, artwork requirements, pricing, and production timing depend on the project.
